Strategy[edit | edit source]

This approach can be combined with getting The Merry Band, URSAL, Proactive Defense and I'm Home!.

• Go down the Second Intentona Comunista path and win the civil war. It can be tricky, but just make sure to snake towards victory points and to naval invade!
• Choose one of the three mutually exclusive foci to pick a leader. Cangaço Coup is pretty strong, but you can also go Align with Moscow for some extra support foci.
• Rush down to The Latin American Socialist Cooperative. Now you can go for the war goals foci.
  • If you want to do Jaguar Diplomacy, make sure you get non-aggression pacts BEFORE going Establish ULASR, as the cores you get will severely harm relations with the UK, France and the like.
• Conquer South America.
  • NOTE: You can go to war with Argentina if you declare on Uruguay, so be mindful if you aren't prepared.
  • NOTE: WW2 might have already kicked off. Try to get non-aggression pacts if possible before declaring on democratic countries, as they might join the Allies.
• When you have conquered most of South America, declare war on the Allies, join Axis and naval invade the United Kingdom.
  • Try to do this before the USA joins, but if the USA already has, its not the end of the world. Just invade the UK, station troops there and work your way up from South America to the USA. 48 divisions of 9/2s should do the job.
  • Take Nottingham for The Merry Band achievement if you have Lampiao as leader
• Once the Allies capitulate, you should justify and declare war on Portugal and Spain one after another. Spain will give you a good staging ground against the Axis. If Vichy France still has not joined the Axis, declare and don't call anybody into the war.
  • Take all of [[flag|Portugal|Portgual's}} cores (including islands in the Atlantic!) to get I'm home!.
• Build up near the Axis border to Spain/Vichy France. Declare with army groups and make sure to escort convoys from your capital to Iberia.
  • Best case scenario the Axis has NOT capitulated the Soviet Union. If they have, it might get very difficult to capitulate the Axis, but not impossible
• Leave the Axis, join the Comintern, and join wars against the Axis. If you can't join the Comintern, make sure to not declare on Germany or Italy directly, as they can get Japan to join with a guarantee.
• Once the Axis capitulates, you will have to capitulate Japan and/or the Comintern. 9/3s with engineer, artillery, anti air, rangers and signal companies work well against the onslaught. Just have the enemy bash their heads in against your fortified units and then make incremental pushes with the aid of air support, spies, and perhaps some tanks as well.
  • It is recommended to declare on minors while you are at war with a major faction, as they might join the faction and be included in the peace deal once you defeat every major in the faction.
• Once all the majors are gone, justify and declare on all remaining countries. ULASR will reign supreme!
• From here on out, you can also do The Dragon Rises.
