I've been feeding this to my dogs for years. Regarding garlic powder: per AKC, it takes several grams of garlic to cause problems in dogs. Many high quality dog kibbles contain bits of garlic powder. I've fed my now 14 year old, 70 pound dog leftovers (not much-just small amounts) of my food his entire life, frequently containing garlic. His blood work, even at his age, is perfect. The key is very slight amounts - just enough to scent for the dog.
