How many picks do the Dolphins have in the 2024 NFL draft? Full list by round (1)

The Miami Dolphins own six picks in the 2024 NFL draft, but they don't have any in the third or fourth rounds.

The third-round pick, which would have been No. 86 overall, was stripped by the NFL after a tampering investigation that concluded before the 2022 season. The fourth-round pick was sent to the Denver Broncos in the deal that brought pass-rusher Bradley Chubb.

The 2024 NFL draft will take place at Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza in Detroit from April 25 through April 27. Round 1 will begin April 25 at 8 p.m. ET, while Rounds 2 and 3 are on April 26 starting at 7 p.m. ET. Rounds 4 through 7 begin at noon ET on April 27. The draft will be broadcast on ESPN, ABC, ESPN+ and the ESPN App. There are 257 total picks in the draft.

Here's the full list of the Miami Dolphins draft picks by round, along with a look at their top roster needs headed into the 2024 season.

Miami Dolphins 2024 draft picks

  • Round 1: No. 21 overall

  • Round 2: No. 55

  • Round 5: No. 158

  • Round 6: No. 184 (from Chicago)

  • Round 6: No. 198

  • Round 7: No. 241

Top three needs: DT, G, WR. Defensive tackle is arguably the Dolphins' biggest need after the first few weeks of free agency. They signed several players at a bargain after losing Christian Wilkins and Raekwon Davis, but it remains to be seen whether any of them project into the team's long-term plans. Not far behind is offensive guard, where Miami re-signed Isaiah Wynn but still has a hole on the right side after Robert Hunt's departure. Finally, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle remain one of the best wide receiver tandems in the NFL, but with limited depth, the Dolphins will be in a bind if either misses time. So while receiver may not be the biggest priority in the draft, it should be addressed by the time training camp begins. -- Marcel Louis-Jacques
