For stronger extraction you want to grind finer, increase brew time and increase your ratio of coffee in to liquid out.
Can you figure out how many actual grams of beans it uses per shot? For example an average espresso shot is a 1:2 ratio or something along the lines of 18g beans in to 36g espresso out.
Otherwise increase your shots per drink to increase the strength. Sounds like you are doing a lot of milk drinks, instead of adding 1 shot, add 2 shots.

I also bought it last time and I'm pretty happy with the purchase.
I sold my garbage Nespresso on Kijiji and I'm saving a ton of money on a better quality coffee.
Tried some different coffee beans and the Hazelnut from Costco is a great option for those who want some additional flavor.
I have americanos, expressos and lates. This last one usually with 2 shots of expresso for a stronger taste. I set up the "my brew" in the app to deliver 2 espressos. As others mentioned, you can do some nice things in there.
I have to descale it 2 to 3 times a year, but I have hard water here. The process is all automated and pretty straightforward.
Overall, for 300 bucks, this is a no brainer!

That's tricky because there is no real way to measure how much beans are going in, you can weigh the puck afterwards but it was exposed to water and changes the weight so it's not perfectly accurate. Since the coffee volume is based on grind time and not grams, its been reported that a coarse grind will produce more coffee since in 6 seconds you'll dispense more grounds then you would on a finer grind (machine would have to work harder/longer on the finer setting, less coffee falls through). I always run a 6 second grind time and fluctuate between .75 and 1.00 oz, either way you aren't getting that intense flavour it's just not happening.
Yes I always run a double espresso, I compare it like for like with my friends Bambino, same beans, double shot etc, lattes and Iced coffees will get diluted to the point you can't taste it well. Really the only solution is a triple shot. I might try a different bean but I don't want to commit unless I keep the machine.
Just giving you folks a heads up if you prefer lattes/milk based drinks and have experienced a real espresso shot.

If I don't have a London drugs store ( GTA), is there any point in getting the extended warranty? Since the terms & condition mention returning in store for warranty replacement.

Get an asian hot water dispenser. Zoijirushi, Cuckoo or whatever your local asian grocer has. Life changer for a hot beverage drinking family.
