this makes me sad... im locked in a contract with the tom team, but i meet the qualifications for this... oh well, life isnt perfect. if anyone is interested, they're looking loss prevention L4 at Amazon LBE1 in New Stanton

People quit their dream jobs because it has become a nightmare for them. If you truly want people to stay, treat them like family, not like a number. Because we are human too, we feel, and we want to help. We can't do that if we are bogged down by the antagonistic ambitions of others.

I am happy to share that I have accepted an offer to help #Amazon Launch LBE1 in July with their TOM Team. Back in June of 2020, I was handing out masks and checking temperatures as a contractor (OSP) at Amazon at PIT5. I thought this might be the place that could truly accept my talents, my flaws and my disability (Living with RA). Amazon in January 2022, I worked in sorting (L1) as a full time employee at PIT5, learning various roles. It was challenging, hard work, but I made friends, shared moments, and even cried a little.In December 2022, I applied for the Assistant Manager (L4) Position at WOO1 in Altoona. I was excited, I had hoped this would be a stepping stone to a career with Amazon. I felt invigorated, confident and lively. I tried to study the 5 star method for the interview process as best as I could, even tried taking advice from Managers, Lila Miller, Donovan Johnson and Alyssa Glenn. Then after my interview for it, I was told I didn't get the position and I just lost it... All my hopes, all my dreams shattered at that moment and my morale plummeted for the next 4 months.... I was lost, broken, directionless, and Angry in April 2023. My trust in others, and faith had been shaken. It's foundations cracked. Then I took a step back for a moment to reflect, realize, and realign my thought process, my heart, and my goals... In the end, I never truly gave up.In June of 2023, a chance opening for Transportation Associate at PIT5 came up and I took that chance, because what did I have to lose at this point. After my interview I learned I was going to PIT2. I will admit, I was scared at first... I never moved trailers before. Some people betted I wouldn't last a month... As stubborn as I can be, I sought out to prove the doubters wrong.. In October of 2023, I joined the Tom Team. As Christmas came and gone, I survived my first Peak as a TOM Team member.From the moment I set foot in Amazon in June of 2020, to now, It was always my goal to stick with Amazon in the hopes that they could open a facility near my home. Today I officially announce my acceptance to transfer to LBE1 to help them Launch Amazon's New Site.. It's been a crazy 4 years. From writing books for Amazon, to handing out masks, to moving boxes and finally moving Trailers. Now, I think I finally found my path after all these years and I will walk it, humbly. If you ever find yourself feeling lost after losing your job, just know, there is always a humble beginning somewhere, it may or may not be with Amazon, but it would be some place willing to embrace you with open arms, willing to wipe the tears you shed away, and put the smile on your face again. There is always hope, just don't give up!
