Bryan was born on June 22, 1974, in Nashville to Gary and Debbie Sharp. Bryan was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Don Nixon and Owen Sharp, and grandmother, Betty Sharp. He is survived by his son, Maxwell "Max" Age 91, native of Lee County, Mississippi was born on February 23, 1923 and died September 24, 2014 at NHC after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Charles G.

Norton; sisters, Elaine West of Verona, MS and Martha Sanders of Hernando, MS; her daughter, Pat (Wes) Bryan of McMinnville, TN and son, C. Michael (Susan) Norton of Nashville, TN; her grandchildren, Joe (Amanda) Collier of McMinnville, TN, Sarah (Brad) Harris of Cookeville, TN, William (Becky) Collier of Rock Island, TN, Ben (Jeannie) Norton of Cary, NC, and Will Norton of Gallatin, TN; step-grandchildren, Shanelle (Kyle) Gray of Manchester, TN, Leslie (Emil) Congdon and Claire Wallace of Pi JAMES GLOVER LONG Pleasant Shade, TN Mr. Long, age 88, passed away September 23, 2014 in Gainesboro. He was born October 17, 1925, and is preceded in death by his wife, Sadie and son, Danny. He is survived by his children, Ted (Gayle) Coleman, James (Nancy) Long, Susan (Timmy) Lee, Bordie (Mevella) Wilkinson; six grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Forest Lawn with Bro. Tim Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will gather at a visitation today from 3 until 8 p.m.

In her high school years, she was an avid basketball player and her Mooreville, MS high school team won the Mississippi State Championship in 1939 and 1940. Ms. Pauline is known for her baking, cooking and sewing. Her Parker House rolls are known area-wide as the best. In the last several years at the UMC Laity fund-raising auction, her rolls have been known to bring more than $40.00 a dozen.

Her needle work is known from children's dresses to wedding dresses. She was a substitute teacher at McMinnville City High School for a number of years and then worked and managed the Cloth House in McMinnville for over 25 years. Mrs. Norton was a 60 year member of the First United Methodist Church of McMinnville, TN, serving in many capacities. She served on the National Executive Committee for the Tennessee American Legion Auxiliary, as State Auxiliary President and President of the Local Unit 173 Auxiliary for a number of years.

She has a record of almost 50 years of continual Voluntary service at the Veterans Hopital in Murfreesboro, TN. Visitation will be on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 1 to 8 p.m., at McMinnville Funeral Home, and on Saturday, September 27th from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. Senior Pastor James Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory on Morrsion Highway.

The family wishes to thank NHC nurses and staff for the excellent care given to Ms. Pauline over the past ten months. He had an infectious energy and spirit shown in his love for snowboarding, canoeing, hiking, cooking and coaching his son's baseball team. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pat Warren Russell of Franklin; daughter, Tracy (John) Willkomm of Franklin; son, Derek (Lori) Russell of Lake Park, NC; granddaughter, Morgan Willkomm; grandson, Jack Willkomm; brother, Archie Russell; and sisters, Lavetta Clement and June (Buck) Wamack. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lolas Treece Russell, father, John Carl Russell, and brothers, Bob Russell and Roger Russell. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to golf with his buddies, travel, spend time with his family, and cheer on his VOLS and Carolina Panthers. Papa was his grandchildren's 1 fan and supporter.

Homer retired from White Lily Foods Co.C.H. Guenther Son in 2005. While employed, he lived in several southeastern cities, including Knoxville, TN, Birmingham, AL, and Charlotte, NC.
