Mr. Cowan was a native of Nashville, TN. and retired from True Temper Corp. in January 1976 after forty two years of service. Mr.

Cowan was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the 178th Field Artillery Battalion from April 1941 until April 1945 in England, Africa, Sicily and Italy. He was awarded the Bronze Star. Mr. Cowan was a Charter Member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where he served as a Deacon and an Elder.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 24, 1999 from 4:00 til 6:30 p.m. and Thursday, March 25, 1999 from 12 noon until time of service. Visitation will be held A in the Parlor at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3900 West End Avenue, Nashville, TN.
